Privacy notice
How ProperBizFix handles personal information when you use this website, contact me or work with me on a project.
Project information
Project materials may include business process information, CRM or system records, management reports and other operational information supplied for analysis. I use this information only for the agreed business analysis or commercial operating review.
Who is responsible for your information
ProperBizFix is operated by Yulia Fomina in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. For data protection purposes, Yulia Fomina is the controller of personal data described in this notice, except where project terms state that I process personal data solely on a partner's behalf. Contact: properbizfix@gmail.com.
Information you provide
If you contact ProperBizFix, discuss a project or become a client, I may receive your name, work email address, job title, employer, company information and anything you choose to send in an enquiry, interview or engagement.
Public business research
For an Account Development Review, project preparation or an agreed discovery engagement, I may review publicly available professional and business information. This may include company websites, public company records, business profiles, public professional profiles, job adverts, announcements and other material relevant to understanding how an organisation has changed.
I use public information to form business hypotheses and prepare for professional work. I do not treat a hypothesis as an established fact simply because it is based on public information. Where personal data is involved, the lawful basis is normally legitimate interests: my interest in researching and delivering a requested B2B professional service proportionately.
Why I use personal information
I use personal information to respond to enquiries, take steps before entering a contract, deliver agreed work, communicate about projects, maintain appropriate business records, manage invoices and legal obligations, protect confidential information and operate the website.
Lawful bases
Depending on the context, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or for legitimate interests such as responding to B2B enquiries, researching an organisation for agreed professional work, keeping appropriate records and protecting the business. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
Client project data and white-label work
The data-protection role for project information depends on the engagement. I may act as an independent controller for my own business administration and professional analysis, and may act as a processor where an implementation partner instructs me to handle personal data solely on its behalf. The engagement terms or a data processing agreement will set out the applicable role, instructions, security and deletion arrangements where required.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, this site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how visitors use ProperBizFix. This may include pages viewed, traffic source, device and browser information, approximate location and interactions such as clicks on email or project links.
Analytics is optional. Google Analytics is not loaded by this site unless you accept analytics. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics. Analytics is used to understand site use and improve the website, not for advertising or behavioural profiling.
The use of optional analytics storage is based on your consent. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using . See the Cookies page for more information.
Who receives personal data
I use third-party services where needed to operate the website and business. These may include Google Analytics for optional website analytics, email and calendar services, file storage, accounting tools, and the website hosting and delivery provider. Those providers may process personal data on my behalf or, for some parts of their services, under their own privacy terms.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, I rely on the transfer arrangements provided by the relevant service provider and applicable UK transfer mechanisms.
How long I keep information
Enquiry information that does not lead to paid work is normally kept for up to 12 months unless there is a reason to keep it for longer. Records connected with paid work may be kept for up to 6 years where needed for contractual, legal, tax or accounting purposes. Project data may have a shorter retention period where the engagement requires it. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, restrict its use, receive certain data in a portable format, or object to processing. If I process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing.
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. To ask a question or exercise a right, email properbizfix@gmail.com.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how I use personal data, please contact me first if you are comfortable doing so. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
Changes
I may update this notice when the website, services, suppliers or use of personal data changes. Last reviewed: 5 September 2026.
